Trondheim Special Dark Roast is our darker everyday blend, created for those who prefer a fuller and more traditional coffee profile.
This blend is roasted a step further to bring out a warmer, more “continental” character, with deeper sweetness, more body, and a rounder finish than our lighter coffees. In the cup, expect caramel sweetness, soft orange, and a nutty pecan-like depth.
It is especially well suited for French press, where the fuller body and darker roast profile come through clearly, but it also works well as filter coffee for those who enjoy a richer and more developed cup.
This is not an extreme dark roast. The goal is balance, comfort, and drinkability, a reliable coffee for long mornings, cabin trips, rough weather, and moments when the going gets tough.
